As part of our Corporate Law team, you will be the direct contact person (all genders) for all business units within the entire Zalando Group on all issues relating to payments/payment services. The focus of your work will be on advising our payments company with an e-money licence. If you are interested and have the necessary experience, you will also have the opportunity to support us in corporate financing or in matters relating to company and capital market law. **INCLUSIVE BY DESIGN**: **WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**: - You'll support Zalando's rapid growth and advise our Zalando Payments company, strategically and on any regulatory and contractual issues related to payment services - You'll work very closely with the Payments team to help implement payment and FinTech solutions to support our various e-commerce offerings - You'll draft, structure and negotiate payment contracts with Zalando's payment providers, including e.g. payment gateway contracts, acquiring contracts, collection contracts, Buy Now Pay Later contracts and other alternative payment methods - You'll oversee the committees of the Zalando payment company - You'll showcase your industry-specific knowledge and expertise on the finance/payment aspects and your negotiation skills on a daily basis - You'll represent the legal/regulatory perspective in strategic decisions and in setting the direction for payment transactions at Zalando - You'll develop intelligent solutions for complex legal issues and projects - You'll manage communication with regulators, nationally and internationally, as well as lobby initiatives and opinions - If you have the relevant experience and interest, you can also be responsible for financing matters of the Zalando Group (in particular credit agreements, factoring, reverse factoring) from a legal perspective in cooperation with the Treasury team. **WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**: - You have successfully completed your state exams, preferably with the grade "vollbefriedigend" - You have at least 4 years of relevant professional experience (financial regulation/payments), e.g. in a large internationally active law firm, an internationally active company or FinTech - You have experience in corporate finance (optional) - You have an excellent command of German and English - You enjoy taking on new challenges, thinking and acting quickly and independently managing and initiating projects. **OUR OFFER**: Zalando provides a range of benefits, here's an overview of what you can expect.
