We've recently finished work on HBO’s The Last of Us, Warner Bros Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and Shazam Fury of the Gods also Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3. Currently, we're working full throttle on super-secret, confidential and completely non-disclosable projects. “Could tell you, would have to kill you.” In the course of the growing importance of our work for film production, we are growing in a controlled and steady manner. The increasing demand for highly specialized visual effects artists from Germany and abroad presents us with daily new challenges, which are the basis for our long-term success. **To support our team in Berlin, we are looking for a System Administrator (m|f|d) Full-time to start with us.** **Your tasks**: - Develop and maintain our physical and virtual server and storage infrastructure. - Deploy, maintain and support artists’ workstations. - Deploy software and manage configurations via our puppet infrastructure. - Monitor and tune our systems to ensure maximum performance and stability. - Provide system and software support to all users including artists, production and company staff. - Work closely with pipeline team to integrate new tools and workflows. - Work closely with production teams to ensure we deliver our projects with the best possible quality while respecting the deadlines. - Maintain and oversee our data sets including active projects data, backups and archives. - Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to increase performance, reliability and manageability. - Enforce and improve our security policies. - Resolve critical outages in the shortest time. **This is what sets you apart**: - A really good knowledge and working experience in Windows and Linux system administration. - A good knowledge and working experience in IP networks administration. - A good knowledge of hardware setup, maintenance and troubleshooting. - Really good troubleshooting and organizational skills. - Ability to work autonomously, with mínimal supervision. - A drive to improve and constantly learn new skills. **We offer you**: - Team-oriented working atmosphere and high professionalism - Career development opportunities - State of the art technology and pipeline and short decision-making paths - Urban Sports Club corporate membership discount - JobRad Employee Bike Leasing program support - Regular team events - Private pension scheme - Fresh fruits, snacks and drinks are on us, of course **EU citizenship or an existing German work permit is required.** **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Contract length: 12 months **Experience**: - Linux: 1 year (preferred) - IP networks administration: 1 year (preferred) **Language**: - English (preferred) License/Certification: - German work permit (required) Work Location: One location
