- Faurecia’s VIE Program?_

The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world

**Your position and environment**:
Our **Faurecia Automotive Seating (FAS) Business Group - Seat Structure Systems Division** is looking for you as a **Program Buyer** (M/F) for our site in **Hannover**, **Germany**.

**Description**:
The Program Buyer is responsible for managing interface between program and suppliers, anticipating the specific requirements for new programs (supplier technologies, geographical location, and target costs), and ensuring the commodity panel strategy is appropriate to support the program. The role selects and pilots’ suppliers from the agreed supplier panel to achieve Program objectives. The Program Buyer belongs to the program core team within a Division.

The main missions of the role are to:

- Ensure supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel: identify and consult suppliers, manages supplier RFQ based on panel given by the Commodity Buyers ;
- Negotiate or participate with the Commodity Buyer in supplier negotiations and the final choice of supplier (leads sourcing committee process to select suppliers from list provided by commodity buyers) ;
- Follow direct performance during the program phase: manage suppliers, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines and in particular ensure that the program phase reviews are supported within the framework of the Faurecia Program Management System (PMS) ;
- Ensure early involvement of the Series Buyers in the program before the series phase ;
- Manage specific mandated suppliers when requested and agreed with customers ;
- Negotiate Engineering Change Requests.

**Qualifications**:

- Master degree in Purchasing, Engineering or Business ;
- First experience in purchasing in an industrial environment.

- Fluent English
- Understanding of supplier cost structures
- Planning and organization skills
- International mindset
- Ability to work in a matrix organization

Nice to have:

- Professional Purchasing Qualification ;
- Awareness of APQP and program manbagement in automotive
