Senior Product Designer

As a **Senior Product Designer** at koppla, your work will directly impact how our customers can improve their construction projects with the help of our platform. Your role will be crucial in shaping the user experience, ensuring that our tools are not only effective but also intuitive and visually compelling. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to turn complex construction management concepts into user-friendly designs. This role is about rapid iteration, direct feedback and continuous improvement, all aimed at delivering a product that stands out in the fast-paced tech landscape.

**Compensation**: €75k-90k + Equity
**Location**: Hybrid setup in Berlin

**What you'll do**:

- You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the user experience of our product. Your core task will be designing and delivering high-quality product designs for web and mobile that meet user needs, business goals and brand standards.
- You will work in cross-functional teams with Product Management, Engineering and Research on projects of various sizes. Additionally you will drive continuous UX improvements forward.
- You will drive projects, manage and improve our existing design system, balancing high quality and a high speed of execution.
- You will develop a deep understanding of the construction domain and our customers’ requirements. Together with your knowledge of best practises, you will make sure we’re always incorporating a customer-focused point of view on our product and where it’s headed.

**Who you are**:

- You are able to clearly communicate design ideas, decision rationale, and product vision.
- Your natural way of working is pragmatic and hands-on, starting with an overview and refining details progressively, with a design approach from low fidelity (e.g. FigJam) to pixel perfect.
- You enjoy truly cross-functional collaboration, and sharing your work early, often and continuously.
- You are pragmatic, as you believe that continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection. You speak German (at least B2) and enjoy speaking English in your working environment.

**Experience**:

- Extensive experience with end-to-end product design
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices
- Deep expertise in utilizing Figma to craft conceptual designs, prototypes and production-ready designs
- (preferred) You have already worked in a SaaS company and start-up/scale-up environment
