**Director Operations M/F/D**
Reporting to the Vice President and Head of Europe, you will be responsible for the operations of a 40 member team with an annual revenue of 13 million Euro.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Lead and develop the operations team and support the business in growing sales through excellent operational execution of projects and service contracts.
Strengthen and secure the project ordering and delivery process, including installation and commissioning, and ensure a high level of maintenance and after-sales service.
Implement all improvements and changes required to increase profitability and reduce overheads and costs.
As a member of the German management team, you create detailed implementation plans for the execution of strategy to achieve short and long term business objectives.
Overall responsibility for the budget, P&L, forecasts and Group reporting for operations in Germany. The position is based in Wiesbaden.
Profile:
- You must have at least 5 years' experience in managing an operations team (project managers, technicians, sales) in the field of industrial capital goods and connected equipment/SaaS in the building finishing sector.
- With a commercial or technical degree you have a taste for technology and connected solutions and a good understanding of technical issues.
- Ideally, you have worked in a matrix environment in an international group.
- Your rigour and organisational skills enable you to manage a large number of projects in a national environment. You have a flair for business and are customer-focused.
- You enjoy working in a team and have excellent interpersonal skills.
- You put your energy and creativity to work for your clients and your team to move important projects forward by bringing a strategic vision to bear.
- You are fluent in German (C2) and English (C1), enabling you to communicate easily with the local team, stakeholders and Group's contacts.
- You live within 1 hour's drive of Wiesbaden or are prepared to relocate.
