Our IT&D team around the world, together with the business, shapes the IT and digital solutions of Covestro in areas such as Supply Chain, Engineering, and Research & Development. Furthermore, we exploit and reap the power of artificial intelligence. The IT & Digitization team plays a significant role in creating the digital journey to make Covestro fully circular in the future. Are you interested in a traineeship of 18 months (approx..), which stretches across the IT&D function to join forces with the teams and create solutions with impact? This is what to expect in detail: - You will have several assignments across the different IT&D functions and beyond at Covestro, each one lasting 3 months on average for you to really contribute based on a concrete use case, project, or initiative.- - You will gain valuable practical experience with stretch assignments, where you will also put leadership into practice (e.g. leading an initiative, potentially in an agile role).- - You will be in the driver’s seat to create and shape your learning path: bring in your proposals for the assignments that you are striving for.- - You can look forward to having a mentor from management at your side, next to possibilities for further development/ training.- - We are looking into the opportunity for an international assignment throughout the program or other forms for you to build your global network.- - Following your traineeship, you will continue to be part of our global IT&D team and an exciting job opportunity is guaranteed.WHAT YOU OFFER- You are an IT & Digitization enthusiast with a digital mindset, experience and thoughts surrounding the trend-setting digital/ artificial intelligence topics- - With a digital mindset, we are looking for you to be open and agile, proactive, creative, customer-centric, eager to seek and act upon feedback, daring to experiment and learn from failures.- - You come with the ambition to create value for Covestro, while also demonstrating leadership ambition and ability to work in a team, enjoying diversity of thought.- - We are looking for tech "aficionados” who gathered experience through IT and digitization specific internships, preferably international or studies abroad- - You hold or recently finished a university degree (Master) in computer sciences, business informatics or business administration with profound technical knowledge and affinity to IT/ digitization topics- - Basic knowledge and experience of the common programming languages and development methods are deemed advantageous.- - Fluent English is essential; German is being considered a plus.- The recruiting process: Have we been able to capture your interest and call forth your curiosity?
