**What you’ll be doing**

The Services Solutions Pre Sales Data Architect collaborates within a talented and experienced team, designing best-in-class data and digital infrastructure solutions that deliver value to customers with the opportunity to work on the most cutting-edge technology platforms and tools available.

**What you bring to the team**
- Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Define and execute the team’s strategy in conjunction with Sales
- Act as a champion and thought leader on data and digital infrastructure engagements, leveraging digital best practices and methodologies (e.g. Agile/DevOps)
- Continually assesses key customers and the market landscape for strategic opportunities collaborating with Services Sales
- Actively participate in customer facing meetings, advising clients on innovation, strategy enablement, digital architectures and transformation roadmaps
- Evangelize the Data Management aaS and Digital Infrastructure Services Offerings
- Provide expert assistance through the various stages of the sales process including qualification, RFIs/RFPs, value proposition and business cases creation
- Help to identify and develop new services in line with market needs and opportunities
- Act as technical liaison between top customers, service delivery and service support teams.
- Create SOW’s for complex deals and makes sure delivery has agreed to the approach and signs it off
- Required Skills & Experience
- Engineering, Information Systems, IT or equivalent Master's degree
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as professional IT or in complex engagements at a Design Authority level
- A proven Data Architect with a deep understanding of data structures and related programming languages
- Highly proficient with a deep understanding of Digitial Infrastructure service offerings and solutions
- Expertise in data manipulation: use of structured data tools (e.g., SQL), & unstructured data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL)
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
- Familiarity with visualisation tools (e.g. Grafana, D3, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik)
- Demonstrable experience with translating unstructured, complex business problems into practical, powerful data solutions
- A passion for keeping up with the latest trends in data science and data engineering
- Significant experience in scoping, resourcing and developing commercial and technical proposals
- Experience in managing large client engagements and communicating up to C-suite executives
- Experience of Agile and Waterfall Project Delivery frameworks
