**Lead Commercial Logistics Specialist PM DEU (M/F/d)**:

- REQUISITION ID: 8479- LOCATION: Hamburg, DE, 22419- DEPARTMENT: Logistics / Material ManagementThe Lead Commercial Logistics Specialist for Project Management Division Europe optimizes the delivery performance of logistics services for projects being executed within Division Europe, whether these services are delivered directly by Division Europe (port operations in country of destination, storage, inland transport to site, tools return) or provided by Global Functions (pre-run, main run, tooling management, material management, etc.).

**YOUR TASKS**:

- Coordination of activities between the regional PM organizations, the Tendering organization, the Commercial PM organization, Sourcing, and Global Logistics to ensure that logistics services are contracted with the best possible terms & conditions, optimizing Nordex position by means of maximizing opportunities whilst mitigating risks.
- Maintenance and development of costs databases, indicators, and benchmarks to assess financial performance of the logistics services in real time, and to support the Tendering organization in establishing projects quotes and schedule in a reliable way.
- Ensuring the fulfillment of all internal commercial logistics budgeting & forecasting processes, throughout the project execution cycle.
- Managing the logistics providers within the countries of destination of the projects, together with the regional organization.
- Acting as an interface point between Global Functions and the Division for all topics related to Logistics and ensuring adequate information flow within the company.
- On an interim basis, substituting the Logistics Director PM Division Europe, and acting as the functional leader for the Area Logistics Managers located in the regions, creating a team spirit among them, organizing best practices sharing, and acting as sparring partner for the regional teams.
- As functional leader for the commercial logistics within PM Division Europe, building, leading and driving performance of highly specialized multi-cultural project logistics teams.
- Elaborating the required logistics strategies, in collaboration with the regional PM organizations, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and interacting as needed within the global organization and the regions to ensure these strategies, as well as any improvement initiatives, are duly implemented.

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Master/Bachelor’s Degree/Engineering or Equivalent combined with suitable industry experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or in project management in the wind business
- Experience with execution of both large projects and portfolios of smaller interconnected projects
- Excellent English language skills, good command of other European languages considered as a benefit
- Strong financial and analytical acumen
- Leadership skills in a matrix organization setting, ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work in an interdependent matrix organization
- High level of commitment and dedication
