Research and development of novel dielectric materials for use in additive manufacturing of electronic devices
- Hands-on resin formulation of novel “inks” for 3D ink-jet printing based on acrylates, epoxies, and many other resin systems.
- Managing and coordination of external research & development partners and technology transfer to internal laboratory
- Characterization of formulation and reactive systems (e.g. dispersion quality, curing characteristics, rheology, surface tension)
- Characterization of polymeric materials (e.g. mechanical and thermal properties)
- Close collaboration with process engineering
- Management of health and safety regulations in the laboratory
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Chemistry, preferably in the field of organic and/or polymer chemistry or education as chemical lab
technician with respective further training and extensive work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field of resin formulation and development (epoxy, acrylate, etc.) is a must.
- Previous experience with dispersion technology and formulation of composite resins.
- Profound knowledge in polymer chemistry and material sciences
- Experience in project management & management of external collaboration partners is a plus.
- Basic knowledge on additive manufacturing, inkjet technology, electronics and/or the PCB industry is a plus.
- Previous experience with laboratory safety regulations is a plus.
- Pro-active, self-responsible and structured working method
- Very good collaborative skills in an international environment
- Friendly and competent appearance to internal and external stakeholders
- Business-fluent English skills
