**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
As a **Financial Accounting Working Student (f/m/d) **you will be an early team member and an integral part of the emerging Finance department. You will have the unique opportunity to build and shape a scalable accounting environment, where you will help us to improve continuously. Your responsibilities will include learning and improving our existing and establishing new accounting processes and solutions. You will also have the opportunity to grow and evolve within the team.
Under the supervision, you can expect to participate in the preparation of financial reports, analyse actual financial data and assist with other accounting activities. You should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking.
**Leave your footprint by**:
- Shadowing the Accounting department as they perform their duties.
- Help in financial planning and analysis
- Assisting with research, recording, and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Help in preparing financial reports, and other documents
- Learn how to work as part of the accounting team to compile and analyse data, track information, and support the company and cross functional departments
- Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations
- Manage and improve our accounts payables
- Enter information into the financial accounting system of the company
- Review and audit employee expense reports and manage corporate credit cards with Finway
**What you will bring to the team?**
- Studies in Business administration, management or want to become a Financial Accountant
- First experience in a startup or similar dynamic, high-performance environment (tech company, consulting) through, internships or student initiatives
- Profound knowledge of MS Office
- Full working proficiency in German or English
- Strong communication skills: direct, empathic, and self-reflective
- Structured, organised, and reliable and able to navigate through a complex startup environment with ever-shifting priorities and timelines
