**Your profile**:
We are looking for our new **Head of Pepper News (f/m/x),** who will be responsible for the magazine section of our community-driven platforms in Germany, United Kingdom, France, and Poland.

In this role, you will represent Pepper News both internally and externally, being the main stakeholder and leading our mission to ensure that we are not missing out on important topics for savvy shoppers

This role reports directly to the management team.

**This is how you can help us**:

- Lead and develop a team of fully employed country leads in **4 different markets**:

- Identify the most relevant news and ensure that our magazines provide them 24/7
- Ensure and monitor the production of high-quality content by setting the right standards
- Connect relevant news topics with our existing PR/Marketing and Deal Editorial teams
- Provide yearly, monthly, and weekly content plans for your teams
- Plan, control, and optimise a 6-digit budget
- Leverage data to report your successes and identify areas of improvement
- Seek and identify growth areas in the news business

**These skills will make you successful in your role**:

- You have experience in organising and running an international Editorial Team
- You are experienced in organising a **24/7 news flow**, including up to date ad-hoc news
- You have a good network or set of resources to find passionate freelance editors
- You understand how to place content in **Google News** and **Google Discover**, being familiar with the technical background
- You can recognize and develop newsworthy stories of interest, writing and/or translating them accurately in a short time
- You know where to source and how to evaluate the most important news for savvy shoppers
- You know which tools you need to keep the newsflow running
- You understand** SEO** and how to structure content to succeed
- You know how to operate the most common **CMS platforms**:

- You are fluent in **English**
- Any tech/gadgets/apps you need to get your job done
- Full-time undetermined contract after 6 months of probation time
