**Responsibilities**:

- Strategic new and further development of our manufacturing technologies and process techniques
- Testing and optimization of methods, techniques, materials, tools and other operating and testing equipment for the production of seals made of elastomers or PTFE and other materials
- Process engineering planning and implementation of new or optimization of existing production plants
- Drawing up production and process engineering requirement profiles for production plants and machines e.g. specifications) as well as analyses, feasibility and profitability studies
- Planning, implementing and modifying new and existing production concepts and technologies and further developing process technologies in cooperation with the product development department
- Implementing new machines and systems and transferring them to production
- Transferring new articles as well as manufacturing and testing processes from the prototype, sample or trial stage to series production

**Qualifications**:

- Successfully completed technical studies, primarily in mechanical engineering, plastics technology or materials technology
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Ideally knowledge in the field of sealing technology and/or PTFE or rubber processing industry
- Independent and strategic way of working
- Very good German and English language skills
- Very good analytical skills and a strong understanding of numbers
- Willingness to travel within Europe, sometimes worldwide
