Data Handling Subsystem Lead (M/F/d)
Your Tasks
- Lead the design of the data handling subsystem
- Define and develop the data handling subsystem of the satellite, covering initial sizing, trade offs, Interface Budgets and performances
- Technical responsibility for the satellite DHS integrity, thus for system level activities including requirements engineering, design and performance engineering
- Overall responsibility for the Data Handling engineering activities, to ensure technical quality as well as adherence to schedule and cost
- Define strategy, analysis and test cases for the DHS verification: Satellite configuration and interface control, DHS budget control and subsystem level test plans
- Coordinate review of specifications with respect to impact on data interfaces
- Coordination with the Avionics Lead
- Support system level design reviews
- Focal point to customers for the Satellite electrical systems
- Deliver the data handling subsystem in time and budget
Your Qualifications
- A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering or compatible qualification
- More than 3 years of professional experience as electronic systems engineer or in similar positions
- Good conceptual and analytical skills
- Experience with hardware projects in phase B/C/D in the field of avionics systems
- Strong capability of leading engineering teams
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Fluency in German is desired
