Join our early-stage venture** Ceressy** as Co-Founder and CMO. Start with a validated concept and tested idea as well as initial funding to bring your venture and your team to speed from day one. Based in Germany (Berlin and Mannheim), we work with ambitious founding team to build a scalable, high-growth digital ventures that will shape the future of food industry globally.

Ceressy is a neutral third-party matchmaking platform helping farmers find, compare & enquire for all relevant Ag-Tech products & services that can make their farming more efficient, sustainable, and profitable. We are a purpose-driven start-up with a mission to serve & empower everyone who is driving food security.

We are looking for a self-driven and ambitious co-founder, who will shape the marketing direction while building a strong user community for our platform. Thanks to the backing of one of the industry leaders’ incubator, we’ve got the industry and startup networks, domain expertise and a solid support in company building to maximize our chance of success.

**Your role**:

- Create, monitor and improve our marketing vision across all of our target markets and channels (online and offline)
- Lead all B2B & B2C marketing incl. branding, campaign management, content creation, community building, and development of strategies for winning customers and retaining them in the long term
- Build a highly functional marketing team inhouse and scout for external marketing agencies & partners to ensure smooth execution of all marketing activities.
- Develop our KPI and reporting structure and build an analytics foundation to make data-driven decisions to track and improve the marketing effectiveness
- Build & maintain rapport with target groups through close communication as well as socializing during events and conferences
- Be the first point of contact for all marketing activities and ensure that the strategy is implemented and further developed.
- You are the face of the company to the outside world and build a strong presence in the market.
- Contribute to the fund-raising activities to take the venture to the next level

**Your offer**:

- Have demonstrable experience in leading marketing teams internationally preferably in e-commerce or similar set-up in a start-up or high growth environment
- Demonstrable knowledge for the (digital) agriculture industry
- An academic degree in business administration with a focus on marketing, communication, media psychology or a comparable degree (master’s degree or higher is a strong advantage)
- Valuable knowledge of current marketing developments in addition to content marketing, community building, online marketing, PR campaigns, social media and brand management
- Proven experience in developing efficient scaling strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
- Market oriented approach, customer focused, willing to take ownership, possess integrity, work with high energy and pragmatic team player who wants to build something big
- A mix of entrepreneurial spirit and agronomic acumen is an ideal combination.
- Fluent in English, and at least one more European language (preferably German)
