This position is part of the Laboratory and will be located in Bad Kreuznach/greater Mainz.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Plan test work and publish test schedules for project managers
- Coordinate, execute, document and report test work
- Supervise the group of test engineers and assigning the day-to day activities
- Plan, realize, qualify and maintain appropriate test equipment and develop this further ongoing along the needs of the projects, as well as plan and realize investments
- Train and develop the team and support personal careers of individuals
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Technical / Natural Science degree, e. g. Food / Beverage Technology, Applied Process Engineering
- At least 3 years
- preferably more - professional experience
- First experience gained to manage a small group
- Excellent analytical skills to prioritize, filter and sort complex material from various sources
- Knowledge of automated systems and basic laboratory techniques and measurement methods
- Good understanding of typical processes in F&B industry
- Some customer facing experience in F&B Industry
- Fluent in English and a good command in German would be nice to have
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Laboratory and pilot plant scale experience
- Project management skills
- Ability to provide in depth technical and scientific recommendations
