We are part of the Nemetschek Group and are seeking to hire a Chief Operations Officer (COO) who will be responsible for overseeing the overall business operations strategy as this is crucial for Graphisoft and Nemetschek’s growth and success **About the role**: The COO will focus is on the internal operations of the business in support of Graphisoft; s long-term and external strategic topics that will drive customer-centered market leadership and accelerate growth. These functions include High Performance Culture. Ownership of Customer Delight, Custodianship of CRM and interaction with ERP, and ensuring global score carding. The focus is on Process, Projects, Business and Sales Operations, as well as Data operations and the implementation of our AI strategy **Key responsibilities**: - Act as a strategic leader on the Executive Team to ensure establishing and maintaining Graphisoft’s standards to business operations - Focus on continuous improvement related to quality, efficiency, and productivity, reducing costs, increasing profits, or improving control measures - Work collaboratively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls and procedures that improve the overall efficiency of internal operations and service to all customers - Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company, including rollout and maintenance of the Balanced Scorecard - Lead and develops an operational team across multiple locations and over various functions - a true matrix organization - Collaborate with the relevant management teams to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of our organization - Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company The ideal COO is a combination of an execution specialist as well as a change leader, able to oversees the implementation of company strategies that are created by senior management and has the responsibility of "delivering results on a day-to-day, quarter-to-quarter basis" while also spearheading new initiatives **Required skills include**: - Strong analytical, people/managerial, communication, and change leadership skills. - Balanced scorecard approach - Adept at P&L management and creation of business plans. - Corporate management experience - Financial planning and strategy - Strategic planning and vision - Promotion of process improvement - Forecasting - Marketing and business development - Budget development - People development skills - Extreme customer focus and orientation - buy in to Customer Delight - Superb process understanding and ideally familiarity with ARIS and APQC **Relevant experience required**: - Minimum of 15 years of senior level management experience - In-depth understanding of the industry including risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements - In-depth understanding of accounting principles including budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and capital planning management - Demonstrated strategic leadership ability - Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field required - MBA strongly preferred
