We are entering a pivotal growth phase and are looking for an exceptional Managing Director - Go-To-Market to help build a world-class commercial organization and scale the business toward Series A and beyond.
As Chief Revenue Officer you will join the leadership team alongside an existing Managing Director. While the current MD focuses on Product, Technology and Operations, you will take full ownership of our commercial motion—from first principles to full scale. Your primary objective is to build and lead a sales-driven organization capable of winning large enterprise deals and generating sustainable ARR growth.
This is a senior leadership role for a high-caliber individual with a proven track record in scaling B2B SaaS companies, particularly in enterprise sales environments, including Marketing, Customer Success and Consulting. You will also work closely with Product & Technology.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute the full go-to-market strategy (sales, marketing, partnerships, customer success)
- Independently manage pipeline from initial outreach to closed-won, with clear visibility on deal stages and forecast
- Build and lead the sales organization: recruit, onboard, and coach a high-performing team
- Implement and continuously improve a repeatable and scalable B2B SaaS sales playbook
- Drive deals, navigating complex buying committees, long sales cycles, and multi-stakeholder engagements
- Set and own revenue targets, sales KPIs, and GTM OKRs
- Align with Product and Customer Success to ensure a tight customer feedback loop and improve conversion, retention, and expansion
- Support fundraising and strategic positioning efforts
- Represent the company externally as a senior commercial leader
**Qualifications**
- native German speaker with fluent English communication skills
- 7-10+ years of relevant experience, including previous experience as Managing Director or equivalent GTM leadership role
- Proven success in selling B2B SaaS solutions to enterprises[MD1], with ACV between €50k-€500k ARR
- Demonstrated ability to own and drive enterprise sales cycles—from lead generation through complex buying committees to contract
- Deep understanding of B2B SaaS metrics, tools, and best practices—you’ve built or scaled a SaaS GTM playbook
- Experience working in a VC-backed startup environment, ideally in companies between Seed and Series B, or having scaled ARR from 0 to €30M
- Strong strategic mindset with hands-on operational execution ability
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for building from scratch and thriving in an early-stage environment
