Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance

Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance (M/F/d)

(full time; tenure track)

Your responsibilities:
In addition, you will foster connections with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including startups, accelerators, venture capitalists, and angel investors within and outside the Constructor ecosystem to facilitate experiential learning opportunities for students and collaborative research projects. Moreover, you will guide and mentor students and university spin-offs with potential business ideas or financial plans.

You are expected to support teaching in the School of Business, Social and Decisions Sciences and focus on developing and implementing innovative, pedagogically sound approaches to online, hybrid, and in-person education. Furthermore, you will work across our three schools to integrate entrepreneurial finance with other areas of education, and you will advise students on their studies and supervise Bachelor, Master’s, and PhD theses and research projects.

Your qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Finance, Business, Economics, or a closely related field, with a focus on entrepreneurship and finance- A track record of publications in entrepreneurial finance or related areas in recognized journals or a strong pipeline indicating future publications- Experience and success in teaching in the context of international and diverse environments- Demonstrable interest in innovative teaching and learning approaches- Experience in transferring research knowledge to solving problems- Responsible, self-motivated person able to work independently and as a part of a team- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Intercultural experience and competence- Fluency in English, the language of instruction and communication on campus
