**Local unit & position description**

Do you want to be part of our pipelines team in Germany and help the industry in tackling the energy transition?

To support Energy Systems to achieve its strategic ambitions and become future fit, we are looking to strengthen our team with a team lead who can drive business operations to meet customers’ expectations, and help to further develop and strengthen local pipeline competence and capacity.

The pipeline team in Germany works with energy companies, suppliers, authorities, and industry associations as an independent service provider. We are recognized as the leading advisors, providing assurance for pipelines and other assets, both onshore and offshore, throughout their lifecycle from concept, through operations and re-qualification, to decommissioning.

We are involved in a large variety of projects, involving working in teams, both internally within the company, and externally with clients. We typically work across disciplines as well as geographies, are positive, self-motivated and results oriented.

You will be based in Germany and report to the Head of Section in Oslo.

**Your responsibilities**
- Lead a team of 6 located in Hamburg/ Germany
- Have close dialogue with clients and act as project sponsor for projects in own team
- Ensure efficient & consistent delivery of services in line with customer expectations
- Empower employees and encourage individual growth
- Stimulate a high performing culture, set direction, be output driven and act as a role model
- Promote team capabilities internally and externally
- Own talent pipeline and development of technical talent/ future-needed capabilities.

**About you**:

- Several years’ experience of managing a technical team, with the proven ability of developing a high-performance culture in a ‘fast-paced’, changing & complex environment
- Domain knowledge and experience related to pipeline transport systems
- Understanding of customers’ value creation processes and authority requirements
- Relevant sales & consulting experience, including project management skills
- Fluent German and English is required.
