About your role: Research and GAP Analysis between current and upcoming data and analysis workflows for the High-Luminosity LHC Collaboration with domain scientists from the field of High Energy and Astro-Particle Physics Development and prototyping a distributed dCache across multiple German universities and High Performance Computing centres Developing extensions to the RESTful-APl to allow the LHC experiments to control the locality of data Analysis of the network topology and security between the distributed storage sites Perform large scale performance tests using scientific workloads with colleagues from LHC experiments at DESY and German remote sites Providing user support for the dCache software technology and DESY dCache customers Good reasons to join: Look forward to a unique working environment on our international research campus.
