Your Impact
As we strive to accomplish our vision, we are currently looking for a Head of Finance & Legal to join our team. You will work closely with our founders, report directly to our VP VP People, Finance & Legal and will have the chance to build a world-class finance & legal department with lots of room to develop and drive your own ideas. Your responsibility includes a variety of work streams - including budgeting, financial reporting and controlling, preparing financial statements with an external accountant, investor reports and requests, revenue collection, cash flow optimization and legal topics such as setting up scalable legal and data protection processes. The wide range of tasks and the mix of analytical responsibility and collaboration with different stakeholders offers a strong opportunity for personal growth. Your Mission
- Build and enhance our financial model and budget. You will drive our financial forecasting and budget vs actual analysis
- You will be responsible for all investor reporting and requests, both on a regular basis as well as for possible future financing rounds
- Revenue collection and cash flow optimization through leasing, factoring and other financial instruments are a core part of our finance management. You will drive these initiatives and develop new solutions
- You will work with a variety of different stakeholders, including the leadership of other teams as well as external accountants to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of our financial statements and drive the reconciliation between financial and management reporting
- Direct access to management as you will report to our VP People, Finance & Legal to build mission-critical financial and legal structures and prepare the company for the next stages of growth
Your Talent
- At least 3 years of practical experience in the field of finance, legal or management consulting - ideally in a high-paced (startup) environment
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in general accounting, financial analysis, forecasting, budget planning and budgetary control, data protection
- Passion for great financial models and excellent Excel skills
- Strong curiosity to learn about new topics and manage them, e.g. leasing and factoring instruments
- Analytic, number-driven mindset, attention to detail and high sense of ownership
- Capacity to make decisions, set priorities and think out of the box
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills. Ability to communicate effectively and influence all types of people in all levels (investors, other team leaders, external suppliers, accountants, etc)
- Hands-on attitude. You want to get stuff done and you’re happy to do the heavy lifting
- High level of ambition and want to grow by getting out of your comfort zone
- Proficiency in English and German
- Last but not least, you are an excellent team player and thrive when faced with challenges
