Position Overview:
As a Trade Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting bilateral trade, facilitating foreign investment, and driving business growth between the two industries. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of business development, including identifying partnerships, organizing trade events and engaging with local companies and government agencies. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an energetic and vibrant international setting, reporting directly to the Trade Commissioner.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Liaison and Networking: Collaborate with foreign firms to establish key business contacts and resources for market entry and expansion into Germany.

2. Network Building: Create and nurture a network of professionals to provide support for business, investment, and trade initiatives.

3. Market Analysis: Develop written market overviews across diverse industry sectors.

4. Partnership Identification: Identify potential collaborations and partnerships between German and Israeli companies.

5. Business Development: Take ownership of cultivating contacts, staying informed about industry trends, and driving business development efforts in assigned sectors.

6. Content Creation: Craft compelling news articles for the website and newsletter, and manage updates across various social media platforms.

7. Event Planning: Collaborate with external organizations, associations, and government offices to organize trade missions and events.

8. Promotion: Promote industrial products, technologies, and services within the German business community.

9. Administration: Manage administrative tasks and budget-related activities to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications & Experience:
1. Autonomy & Innovation: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, autonomous work environment, generating innovative ideas and approaches to tasks.

2. Professional Experience: Previous exposure to finance, business development, consultancy, or international trade-based organizations is advantageous.

3. Exceptional Communication: Proficient English writing and communication skills, along with familiarity with various social media platforms.

4. Educational Background: A university Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, commerce, economics, or international relations.

5. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with a specific industry or tech sector is a plus.

6. Global Outlook: An interest in the global economy and business news/events is a plus.
