**Intro Paragraph**:
This is a chance to play a pivotal role in the continued expansion of one of our largest markets. It is a role with a high degree of autonomy and the chance to build a new structure whilst working with an existing, highly capable international team of industry professionals. The Commercial Director will be key to our strategy and decision-making in the German market, and will utilise creative solutions to ensure continued growth.

**Your Job**:

- Overseeing resourcing and staffing and managing overheads. Building a small team dedicated to the German market.
- Overseeing staff development and day-to-day team management.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a comparable commercial/development role for a renewables developer or investor.
- Strong solar project development experience.
- Experience leading sizeable teams of development professionals.
- Technical understanding of solar photovoltaics and familiar with the process of procurement, construction and logistics of investment projects.
- Experience undertaking solar farm development activities - permitting, landowner negotiations, stakeholder engagement, site design, energy yield, budgeting and scheduling and grid connection.
- Experience undertaking due diligence for financing.
- Experience leading SPA and contract negotiations.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislative changes which impact ib vogt’s investments in Germany.

**Your profile**:

- Academic degree in engineering or business.
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external clients and partners.
- Willingness to travel.
