Antal Internation is global recruitment service firm, we are hiring for our client, a leading chemical manufacturer who **specializes in producing high-performance foam control agents.**These agents are utilized across a diverse range of industries, **including adhesives, construction, decorative paints, desalination, distillation, fibre composites, inks, metalworking fluids, oil production, paper, phosphoric acid, polymer production, pulp and paper, recycling, sugar processing, têxtiles, vegetable and starch processing, wastewater treatment, and wood coatings.**
**Job General scope.**
As **Sales / Business Development Specialty Chemical Additives - DACH,** you will be responsible for managing and expanding the company’s presence **across Germany, Austria and Switzerland** (Some EU Eastern could be consider as well). You will work to **identify new business opportunities and develop long-term partnerships with key industry players.**
Your role will **involve strategic business development, new customer acquisition, account management, and sales execution**, ensuring the company’s solutions are positioned effectively in the market.
**You will report to EU Head of Sales.**
**Main Missions and Responsibilities**
**Sales & Business Development**
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the DACH area.
- Identify and onboard new customers, expanding the company’s market share.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
**Account Management & Customer Support**
- Ensure excellent customer service by understanding client requirements and providing tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and sales terms to maximize profitability.
- Ensure seamless communication between customers and internal departments.
**Technical & Market Expertise**
- Work with the Product Development Team to provide feedback on market needs and product improvements.
**Forecasting & Reporting**
- Track and analyse sales performance, forecasts, and market trends to ensure targets are met.
- Regularly report on sales activities, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to senior management.
- Work closely with marketing to develop promotional strategies, technical presentations, and sales materials.
**Qualification requirement**:
- **Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical** or **Material Science** related field.
- 3-5 years of B2B specialty chemicals sales experience across diverse markets, with a proven track record in business development, account management, and sales growth.
- Ideally solid knowledge of manufacturing processes within the chemical, food, paper, and wastewater treatment industries.
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and pricing strategy skills - Results-driven, proactive, and highly organized.
- **Fluent in English and German MUST**:
- Willingness to travel frequently, up to 40%, across DACH
