**Job Description** Be our next Hero - Join the world’s leading local delivery platform.**

We are looking for an experienced **Lead Product Designer** with a **strong background in design systems** to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving our design system, ensuring a cohesive and scalable user experience across our Rider apps. You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of 20 designers and 150 engineers to champion and implement design system best practices.

- Design system leadership: Share ownership of our design system, driving its evolution, and ensuring its adoption across the organization.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (designers, engineers, product managers) to gather requirements, provide guidance, and ensure design consistency.
- Component design: Create and maintain high-quality, reusable design components that adhere to our design principles and accessibility standards.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive design system documentation, including guidelines, usage examples, and specifications.
- Evangelize and educate: Advocate for the design system, educate teams on its benefits, and provide training and support as needed.
- User-centric approach: Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design system decisions and ensure a positive user experience.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on design systems.
- A portfolio demonstrating your design system expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of design principles, UI patterns, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

**Nice to have**:

- Experience with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with design system tooling and frameworks.
- Experience contributing to open-source design system
