Credit risks are the main underwriting focus in EULA5. The Global Credit Solutions (GCS) team is writing business mainly with global banks by insuring credit risks originated by the banks, where the team assumes the role of a primary insurer.

To ensure the smooth functioning of our underwriting team and the efficient execution and monitoring of our transactions, we are looking for mid-office support for our team with strong IT skills in matters from underwriting support, database population to management reporting and deal monitoring, as well as general administration. The job is based in Munich.

**Your job**
- Underwriting support for Client Managers (CRRM) (data processing/analysis, transaction entries into relevant systems, supporting deal documentation/ filing, supporting client interaction)
- Deal monitoring, quality assurance also into finance/ accounting systems, Data entries, updates and quality control in the Underwriting systems (mainly FRIDA and KISS))
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders at Munich Re and GLISE in underwriting and monitoring (e.g., Accounting, Controlling, Central Reserving)
- Clients interaction with legal Underwriting Documents - Annex A, collection of signatures
- Filing of Underwriting documents in the relevant data base
- Monitoring and preparation of reports from the Underwriting systems

**Your profile**
- Successfully completed banking/ insurance education or Bachelor’s degree in finance / economics (or equivalent)
- Several years of practical experience in the middle office of an internationally operating Financial Institution (bank or (re-)insurance)
- Knowledge of credit risk management and/or credit insurance (incl. products and processes) Strong IT-Systems affinity - ability and willingness to learn new IT systems incl. databases (EU/LA5 and MR specific) used for underwriting, monitoring, administration/ accounting
- Proficiency of MS 365 suite (esp. Excel, Powerpoint, MS Teams, PowerBI would be an advantage)
- Very thorough, reliable and independent way of working
- A confident demeanor and very good social skills, strong team player and solution-oriented mindset
- Business-fluent command of English required; additional foreign-language skills are an advantage
