The primary responsibility would involve working closely with global banks or asset managers in monitoring their corporate credit portfolio investments. The role would entail carrying out detailed underwriting and portfolio monitoring of middle market loans, presenting analysis to the credit committee and monitoring the ongoing performance of the existing loans.

  1. Independently completing detailed credit analysis of existing credits across sectors.
  2. Providing insights / value add in credit analysis aimed at achieving positive client impact.
  3. Presenting completed analysis to credit committee with recommendation to approve / reject a credit.
  4. Ability to calculate key credit metrics (EBITDA, Leverage, repayment etc.) basis definitions provided in facility agreements, credit agreements, amendment documents etc.
  5. Monitor and calculate financial covenants.
  6. Proactively identify red flags in underlying credits.
  7. Manage data for transactions on the Oxane's proprietary technology platform.
  8. Performing quality check of junior team members and taking responsibility of expediting their learning curve.
  9. Training new members and ensuring expedited learning curve for them.
  10. Providing guidance and solving queries of junior team members.
  11. Executing new client projects with minimal guidance from senior team members.
  12. Maintain process rigor and identify / flag process gaps, including potential solutions
Requirements
  1. Strong understanding of the commercial loan lifecycle from origination to underwriting to monitoring.
  2. Proven ability to perform critical analysis of credits (underwriting and monitoring), including but not limited to capital structure, financial analysis, EBITDA analysis, key business risks, industry analysis, risk ratings etc.
  3. Proven ability to quickly understand business models of companies across sectors.
  4. Proven ability to work under pressure to consistently meet strict and aggressive deadlines.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Prior experience with Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, Financial Advisory firm or KPOs as a credit analyst would be an added advantage.
  7. Prior experience of mentoring / quality checking work of junior team member
