Senior Specialist Packaging Engineering

**Your areas of responsibilities**:
- Manage and develop packaging solutions for new and existing products, ensuring they meet functional, cost, and sustainability requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Marketing to ensure packaging solutions meet product and customer needs
- Conduct packaging assessments to identify opportunities for improvement in cost, sustainability, and performance
- Develop and maintain packaging specifications, standards, and best practices
- Support regulatory compliance efforts by ensuring packaging meets applicable regulations and standards
- Provide technical support and training to internal and external stakeholders on packaging-related topics
**Your profile of qualification**:
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in packaging engineering, with a focus on consumer goods
- Strong technical knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, paper technology, and testing methods
- Experience in project management, including managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholders
- Experience with sustainable packaging design and circular economy principles
- Profound knowledge of Artios CAD, Cape Pack (or similar) programs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
