**Your responsibilities**:

- Definition, communication and group-wide training of standards for accounting (HB II), valuation and account assignment
- Preparation, maintenance and training of the Group accounting guideline (including account assignment guideline), answering general valuation questions
- Timely preparation of the Group’s monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including data validation, quality checks and analysis of the Group figures as well as of the subsidiaries (HB II)
- Continuously increasing the competence of finance employees in subsidiaries and, in connection with this, improving data quality and controls
- Continuous improvement of the period-end closing and the consolidation process

**Your profile**:

- Successfully completed Bachelor or Master studies in Finance, Business or Management
- Solid work experience with superior knowledge in the area of accounting (in particular German GAAP (HGB)) and external reporting
- Experience in relevant systems (e.g. SAP FI, BPC and Analysis for Office)
- Capability to leverage influence beyond the immediate area of responsibility; influencer that can convince based on competence and interpersonal skills across all hierarchical levels
- Goal-oriented and pragmatic work ethic (hands-on-mentality) with strong motivation
- Structured and analytical approach
- Fluent English
