**Head of Procurement and Supply Chain (f/m/d)**:
**Starting date**: as soon as possible.
**Compensation package**: €100,000 - €110,000 in yearly salary, €80,000 - €120,000 in equity. Additionally, up to €5,000 p.a. in company benefits
**Work model**:Hybrid in Munich; occasional travel is required to supplier and client locations.

**Your role**:
As **Head of Procurement and Supply Chain**, you will be responsible for the entire direct and indirect procurement as well as all supply chain activities of Orbem. You will develop and execute supply strategies aligned with Orbem’s strategic objectives to ensure we always have reliable supply at an ever-improving price-point available at the right point in time and at the right location.

You will work directly with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure the Procurement and Supply Chain department exceeds our customer’s expectations and delivers more with less.

We are moving very fast, expanding to new geographies and verticals. This role requires a strategic and experienced leader who loves high pace and drives efficiency and innovation across all facets of procurement and supply management.

**Your responsibilities**:
As the leader who will shape our Procurement and Supply Chain department, you will:

- Build and lead a high-performing team in charge of direct procurement, indirect procurement and supply chain management.
- Ensure reliability of supply and continuous cost-improvement focusing on our major categories MRI and automation equipment.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant delivery across geographies.
- Establish strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and secure reliable supply channels.
- Analyze market trends and forecasts to anticipate changes in supply and demand, adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Define and operationalize the strategic roadmap for Procurement and Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
- Closely collaborate with teams across the company including field operations, customer success, finance, product and systems integration.
- Monitor key performance metrics and report on the effectiveness of procurement and supply chain activities.

**Experience and skills**
- 8+ years of experience in a senior procurement and/or supply chain role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement and supply chain strategies.
- Experience in building up and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Strong negotiation skills with a history of effectively managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in a technical industry with high-value assets. MRI or mechanical automation are a plus.
- You are relentless in ensuring Orbem has reliable supply at the best price-point.
- You have gathered experience in a high-growth (deep-) tech company.
- You are a strategic thinker able to foresee challenges and guide strategic decisions.
- You are ready to adjust tactics in response to unexpected changes.
- You are highly skilled at making informed decisions promptly and effectively whilst ensuring senior stakeholder buy-in.
- Experience working with advanced procurement and supply chain tools leveraging the latest technology.
- You bring a growth mindset and are always willing to push the organization and yourself to achieve more and adapt to changing circumstances.
