Working Student - Supply Chain Management (M/F/d)
Position Summary
As working student in supply chain for the Munich plant of LivaNova Deutschland GmbH you will be responsible for supporting the department along the whole supply chain. The scope lies in the fields of tactical procurement, production planning and scheduling as well as in export of goods. The position will provide a broad and interconnected view of the whole supply chain of two value streams in the medical device manufacturing field. Get first working experience and extend existing knowledge
General Responsibilities
- Support the department in day-to-day business
- Assistance in Workshops for Change Management and Continuous Improvement (Preparation, Execution, Sustainment)
- Assistance in setup of processes in supply chain department (Preparation, Execution)
- Creation of documents, reports, excel spreadsheets and presentations
- Maintaining data for purchase orders and/or customer orders
- Creating reports and analysis of current state situations for management presentation
- Engagement in daily activities such as: supplier management, production planning and scheduling updates, shipment bookings and disposition
- Participate in new innovative activities in supply chain
Skills and Experience
- Regular students of a technical college or university who are matriculated
- Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Production & Logistics, Supply Chain Management
- Interest in Continuous Improvement, LEAN, Supply Chain, Logistics
- MS Office user knowledge
- English and German (B2 or higher) skills both written and spoken
- Analytical and conceptual skills
- Reliable, self-responsible and structured work
- Good communication and team skills
