Lead Data Scientist (M/F/d) (Ref.No. R1007427) in Full or Part Time at our location in Berlin

You will enjoy having this responsibility:
As Lead Data Scientist (M/F/d), you shape the future of Ground Transportation by designing and implementing innovative digital solutions for the railway sector. You will contribute to our mission by developing advanced data science models and algorithms that enhance our digital offerings.

It also involves the following tasks:
- You develop and implement data science algorithms tailored to specific use cases to solve complex transportation challenges- By integrating and visualizing results, you ensure that stakeholders receive clear, actionable insights- You design robust, efficient software that adheres to agile principles and best practices in the industry- Actively participating in sprint development, you provide updates, remove blockers, and drive continuous improvement- Through collaborative discussions, you validate and refine design proposals with your peers in an open and constructive way- Staying current with industry trends, you incorporate relevant advancements to push innovation in your projects

You have:
- A completed degree in a relevant field and practical experience with object-oriented programming languages like Java or C#- Hands-on skills in Python programming, with experience in image recognition, perception systems, and related machine learning algorithms- Expertise in secure software development, along with experience writing automated unit and integration tests- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms and Big Data development, which would be advantageous- A deep understanding of Agile methodologies and a commitment to following best practices in software development- Excellent communication skills, complemented by a collaborative, team-oriented approach
