Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Lead Data Scientist
to guide our data and analytics initiatives in Ireland. The role involves leading a team of data professionals, designing advanced analytical models, and providing insights that drive strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts.
  • Develop and implement advanced data models, algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven strategies.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Oversee data collection, cleaning, and validation processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in data science, machine learning, and AI.
  • Evaluate new tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Spark).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing cross-functional data projects.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML deployment in production environments.
  • Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
