Approximately 15,000 employees work in the segment, which generated sales of around 3.4 billion euros in fiscal 2022/2023.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Establishment of the new function Process Technology of Business Unit Business Unit Uhde within the thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies segment.
- Reporting directly to the COO of the Business Unit, ensuring alignment with global organizational goals and standards.
- Responsibility for the process related engineering for operational customer projects, including a strong Process Design Package, basic and detailed process engineering.
- Integration of new innovative developments from Technology & Innovation into operational process designs.
- Implement a seamless process which ensures well established interactions in the sales and execution phase of the projects.
- Ownership for development of Process Technology execution process and tools globally, building a strong global process technology community.
- Ensure process safety protocols are implemented, including innovative solutions to simulate risk and ensure safety is a regular milestone check during the development of the Process Design Packages and related documentation.
- Provide a standardized PDP that allows for efficient sales and execution while allowing customizations to be adopted in a professional and well-documented way.
- Continuously develop our employees to have an excellent technical, methodical, and leading competence in the right quantity.
- Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization efforts, considering efficiency measures like standardization, lean, Six Sigma, digitalization and AI.
- Achieve goals for a cost competitive PDP and optimized lead time.
- Highly collaborative approach to operations, working together with functions like Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Procurement and Construction, Commissioning & Fabrication.
- Collaborating with Technology & Innovation to ensure a continuous development and innovation for our Uhde process technologies.
- Managing interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, third party companies, Sales, Engineering and Procurement divisions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

**Your profile**:

- At least 10 years of professional experience in Process Technology in chemical industry.
- Degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering or similar), or in Chemistry, ideally supplemented by an economic degree (MBA).
- Extensive knowledge of some of our Process Technologies (e.g. Ammonia, Nitric Acid, Methanol-to-X, biomass gasification, ).
- Experience in working with corporate decision makers, contractors and internal & external stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset, able to develop a strong strategy for Process Technology and capable to develop a strategic workforce plan for a global team of 200 employees.
- Proven records of leading international teams respective intercultural awareness and ability to leverage cultural differences.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with MS Office Package.
- Drive and able to work under high pressure while still meeting highest level of results.
- A strong customer orientation as well as a keen sense of interdisciplinary collaboration.
