**Your responsibilities**:

- Taking over the disciplinary and professional management as well as development of the function Business Excellence of the Business Unit Uhde of the thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies segment. Reporting directly to the CEO of the Business Unit, ensuring alignment with global organizational goals and standards.
- Development and implementation of a global improvement strategy to deliver a sustainable culture of business excellence.
- Driving projects for business excellence and support the functions with specific improvement projects.
- Responsibility for the company Quality Management including ensuring compliance to ISO certification, Integrated Management system, general process descriptions, policies and internal as well as external quality audits.
- Introducing lean and agile methodology throughout the entire business value stream, including driving a strong process optimization, continuous improvement initiatives and training.
- Implementing operational and strategic excellence with an effective Quality Management System that is transparently available for the respective target groups.
- Continuously developing our employees to adopt a lean and agile way of working, driving an increased productivity and optimizing internal and external processes.
- Ensuring effective communication of strategies and objectives to create an environment of continuous improvement and teamwork across the entire organization.
- Assess existing or new tools to implement business excellence, including adoption of Lean Management and/or Six Sigma.
- Pushing forward initiatives to digitalize processes in collaboration with the IT.

**Your profile**:

- At least 10 years of professional experience in Business Excellence in chemical industry, general plant engineering or energy industry.
- Degree in business or an engineering discipline (mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering or similar), understanding the specific aspects of plant engineering and technology development.
- Extensive knowledge about continuous improvement methodologies with supported certifications and demonstrated implementation of projects, impact measurement, with domain-know-how in Quality Management.
- Experience in working with corporate decision makers and internal & external stakeholders.
- Structured way of working and proven track record of successfully driving transformation.
- Proven records of leading international teams respective intercultural awareness and ability to leverage cultural differences.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with MS Office package.
- Drive and able to work under high pressure while still meeting highest level of results.
