Head of Information Technology Management

**Aufgaben**:

- You will be in charge of the overall IT department and the worldwide IT set-up for the Business Unit Uhde with a focus on Technical Applications, SAP & Commercial Applications, IT Infrastructure & Applications, IT Project Management, IT Controlling & Coordination and Information Security.
- You are responsible for planning and developing all relevant IT projects as well as the safe and trouble-free operation of all systems within the Uhde network.
- You carry out systematic assessments of current IT trends and next-generation technologies, develop the strategic IT direction of BU Uhde on a global level and drive the digital transformation of the company.
- You will develop, implement and optimize innovative and competitive technical solutions for our end-to-end processes in coordination with the operative and administrative divisions of the company.
- You prepare, prioritize, initiate and monitor the implementation of all business/IT projects.
- You observe current market developments, select strategic partners for IT supplies, services and licensing, evaluate the solutions and technologies offered and design the appropriate contractual relationships.
- You advise departments on optimizing the IT tool landscape and system integration and prepare strategic board decisions with a large commercial impact.

**Profil**:

- You have completed a university degree (Business) Computer Science or Engineering (diploma or Master’s degree) with well-founded IT knowledge and are specializing in engineering computer science.
- You can look back on several years of professional experience in the IT environment and have already been able to gain leadership experience.
- Ideally, you will have experience with companies from the plant construction sector.
- Experience in the implementation of large IT projects from design to operation is desirable, existing SAP knowledge would make it easier for you to get started.
- You are willing to develop people and skills to their maximum potential, have very good communication and teamwork skills and recognize the added value of working together in intercultural and interdisciplinary teams.
- You have an independent and reliable working style, very good analytical and conceptual skills and a high degree of initiative and commitment as well as a strong customer and service orientation.
- You have business fluent English language skills and are willing to take international business trips at short notice.
