Working as part of the Delivery function within the Cox Automotive Enterprise Technology Team supporting the delivery of new Products, Services and Customer Implementations.

**Main purpose of the job**:
The Head of Delivery - Wholesale is responsible for ensuring the successful planning and delivery of all work flowing through the product engineering teams. The Head of Delivery will work with peers in Product, Engineering and Architecture to define, embed and enhance effective processes that enable the teams to plan and manage workload across Strategic Projects, New Features, Technical Enablers, Customer Implementations, BAU/Small Change and Maintenance. In short;
**Product**
- Establishes and maintains the long-term Product vision, strategy and roadmap.
- Provides business representation and feedback (aka: the “why”).
- Manages customer & stakeholder engagement and feedback.

**Architecture**
- Defines a common architectural vision and guidance (with minimum possible constraints) for proposed solutions and validates design feasibility.

**Engineering**
- Translates customer needs and solution vision into technical delivery recommendations, which in turn is fully refined and fulfilled by the Engineering and QA Cells.
- This includes Product Engineering & Platform Engineering & Infrastructure Engineering that enable the end outcome.

**Delivery - The Team**
- Provides leadership, coordination within and across teams, and facilitation of the core team.
- Partners with practitioners on delivery methods and ways of working and ongoing operations.
- Fosters principles and practices of continuous delivery and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for all delivery personnel in the team, including the Technology Delivery Managers, Agile Coaches and Scrums Masters.

Working directly with counterparts across Enterprise Tech and Products as well as the wider Enterprise teams, including Sales/Account Management, to ensure there is clarity on capacity and resource availability and options to flex.

This will include management of key dependencies to achieve plans such as third party providers, cross-portfolio teams (including enterprise PM/Arch and other engineering teams) and infrastructure and tech foundations.

Working with various parties across the organisation to plan work for the portfolio, this will include customer/sales pipeline, programme/project management, product and technology teams.

**Skills**:

- Extensive experience in a delivery management position
- Experience of senior stakeholder management and influencing at a senior / executive level
- Experience and appreciation of a variety of delivery methodologies and approaches with a pragmatic approach to deploying the right method to the right job
- Experience setting up, embedding and adapting new processes
- Experience in a leadership role, building and managing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Preferred**:

- Experience in automotive B2C & B2B, supply chain or high-tech
