Join Stellar, as we are building the first 360 degree trust platform and embedded insurance product for the short-term rental industry.
Founded by serial entrepreneur and investor Philipp Reuter (Co-Founder of STR management software Smoobu) and Milan Plogsties (ex Project Leader at BCG and MD at HomeToGo), we are solving one of the most pressing problems in the industry: building trust between guests and hosts. With over 1 billion nights booked in short-term rentals in the EU alone, the opportunity is huge and we have everything we need to succeed: financial backing from some of the most experienced founders & investors in travel tech and the short-term rental industry, a great team and a number of pilot customers.
We are about to launch our product, and are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong entrepreneurial mindset to join us as an Entrepreneur in Residence Intern. If you are eager to experience what it’s like to build & launch a new venture, love to work on a variety of different projects, and are excited about the travel space, this is the role for you.
Tasks
- Collaborate with the founding team to drive strategic initiatives, from product development to market entry.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics in the short-term rental and embedded insurance markets.
- Assist in the developing & refining product features, and go-to-market strategies.
- Help build relationships with key stakeholders, including pilot customers, investors, and industry partners.
- Support the creation of pitch decks, financial models, and investor materials
- Assist with various projects to help ensure smooth operations & project execution

**Requirements**:

- You are currently studying or have recently graduated in business, economics, finance, computer science or a similar field
- You have worked in a fast-paced environment such as start-up, VC or consulting
- You are fluent in English, knowledge of German is a big plus
- You are a strong, independent thinker who is not afraid to share your opinions and ideas.
- You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
