Financial Controller

We are looking for a financial controller to drive the professionalization of the financial processes and reporting for our German entity Patagona GmbH. Our organizational growth has put urgency on securing the Order-to-Cash process, which entails completeness of invoicing, revenues and cash received. The financial controller will be responsible for improving and managing our management reporting in Germany.

In this role, you will manage all financial responsibilities for our German entity. Additionally, you will be the “spider in the web” between the German-based team, our external accountant, and the finance team. You will actively participate in the implementation and operation of our financial systems. As a SaaS organization, we are highly dependent on our SaaS KPI’s for decision-making. As a member of our finance team, you will become an expert in SaaS reporting quickly. You will be close to the business and have an important role in business planning and analyzing performance.

**Key responsibilities**
- Managing the books of Patagona GmbH in collaboration with our external accountant who performs the bookkeeping
- Manage all internal financial reporting, including management reporting for the Group
- Manage our Usage and subscription based customer invoicing and managing the customer base
- Actively manage our accounts receivable
- Cash Flow management in liaison with group finance
- Financial Planning and Analysis

You are a team player with a high level of ownership and responsibility. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment and don’t shy away from a challenge. You are capable to constantly zoom in and out: zoom in to roll up your sleeves and make sure all operational tasks are completed, and zoom out to think of process improvements and workflow streamlining. And finally, you like to have some fun throughout the process

Apart from that, you:

- Have hands-on experience managing financial administration of a company, including bookkeeping, VAT statements, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Have a relevant experience as Financial Controller, Accountant or Finance Manager, gained preferably from a dynamic and technology-driven environment
- Have a bachelor or master’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
- Are fluent in German and English
