**This is a 20-month Fixed Term Contract** Are you eager to define the future of Internal Communications? We're seeking a communications professional to manage employee-facing communications in Germany, based in Munich. As the single-threaded leader, you will be responsible for all internal communications for Amazon's corporate employees, including editorial planning, engagement strategies, campaigns, and events. At Amazon, we develop products and services that make our customers' lives easier. In this role, your main focus will be fellow Amazonians. You'll join a culture that values individual expression, respects different opinions, and works collaboratively. You'll be entrusted with significant responsibility and room to explore new possibilities. It's always Day 1 for us, and an exciting time to join as we're investing in a dedicated European Internal Corporate Communications team. This role would suit a detail-oriented professional with a passion for storytelling, ability to lead through ambiguity, and agility to navigate a large-scale, complex business. Key job responsibilities - Work as part of a global team to develop innovative internal communications strategies, clear narratives, and effective tactics tailored to engage Amazon's corporate employees in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland - Build and manage relationships and provide internal communications counsel to various functions, stakeholders, and senior leaders, including PR, HR, Facilities, Legal, affinity groups, and leadership teams - Manage internal communications channels, define content strategies, and implement proactive campaigns - Source and deliver original content, including articles, videos, and events, that highlight employees and relevant topics for internal audiences - Build and deliver internal events (virtual and on-site) including bi-annual employee conference events (All-DACH meetings) - Manage change, issues, and crisis communications to support business needs - Serve as the employee experience advocate - Manage project-related budgets and administrative tasks
- Internal communications experience within a multi-national company or large-scale organization
- Experience in retail operations, logistics, and/or technology sectors
- Track record of developing creative solutions to complex communications challenges
- Experience creating and analyzing metrics to measure effectiveness and engagement
- Event organization experience for diverse, remote, and mobile workforces
- Strategic approach to problem-solving and ability to anticipate potential issues
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in time-sensitive situations
- Experience with digital communication platforms and tools
