**What You Will Focus on**:
As an Agile Development Enthusiast & Scrum Master for Software Development at Telespazio Germany, you will play a crucial role in guiding our teams towards Agile maturity while ensuring the successful implementation of Scrum practices. You will be a servant leader, mentor, and facilitator, helping our cross-functional teams deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. Most of your activities will be in an Agency environment (e.g. ESA/ESOC or EUMETSAT), which requires the ability to find pragmatic interpretations of an Agile development methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Scrum Master: Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams, fostering a collaborative environment and facilitating Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives)
- Facilitator: Work alongside space and aerospace domain experts to enable them to develop solutions that bring value to our clients
- Agile Advocate: Promote Agile principles, values, and practices across the organization, encouraging continuous improvement and a customer-centric mindset
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile methodologies, helping them to understand and embrace Agile principles
- Remove Impediments: Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
- Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on Agile team performance, using data-driven insights to drive improvements
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Agile and Scrum, bringing new ideas and techniques to the team
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
- Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts and promote a positive team environment

**What You Bring**:

- A University degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline is considered beneficial
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is preferred
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) tailored to software development
- Ability to work independently in a client-facing role (e.g. Product Owner)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners
- Proficiency in English, both in speech and writing

Desirable
- Experience of having worked within the Space industry
- Knowledge of ECSS Agile Development guidelines
