**What you will do**
- Supporting chip design process from first concept to tape-out and also electrical verification
- Literature study of advanced integrated digital design concepts
- Doing RTL coding, function verification, and logic synthesis
- Development of a digital interface and RTL-to-GDSII flow for non-volatile memory

These topics can also be worked on as part of a **master’s thesis**.

**What you bring to the table**
- Scientific university studies in the field of electrical/ electronics and communication engineering, physics, computer science or in a comparable field
- Prefeably programming experience in Verilog and VHDL, Matlab, or/and Python, and optional skills in RTL-to-GDSII flows (ASIC Design), RC/Xcelium/other RTL simulators, Genus/Design Compiler, Innovus/IC compiler
- Result-oriented spirit of work with the attitude of creative problem solving
- Good written and spoken English as a basis for working in an international team
- Knowledge in the following areas is advantageous: memory technology, low power digital design, static timing analysis (STA), ADC/DAC and basics of analog amplifier design

The weekly working time is up to 20 hours and is to be coordinated flexibly. The position is initially for 6 months. A long-term collaboration is possible. Remuneration according to the general works agreement for employing assistant staff.
