At Huawei Dresden Research Center (DRC), our mission is to explore operating system, Web, concurrency, virtualization technologies on multicore heterogeneous architectures, aiming to provide a high-performance, reliable abstraction layer for efficient resource utilization. Collaborating with top universities and industry partners, we turn research into real-world impact — published at elite conferences (ASPLOS, OSDI, etc.) and deployed across Huawei's global products.

Fields Lab in Hilbert Research Center focuses on Web and concurrency technologies, aiming to solve technical challenges related to efficient page rendering and interaction across various web scenarios. Join us as an

Intern or Working Student in Web & AI (m/f/d) 

Your mission

  • Gaining experience by working under guidance on exploratory and promising projects.
  • Contributing to areas such as web agents, web autonomous frameworks, intelligent behavior browsers.
  • Conducting research on in-browser model execution and integrating generative models into front-end applications.
  • Developing professional skills in reporting and presenting your work effectively in a company setting.

Your areas of expertise

  • Pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science, informatics, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of HTML / CSS / JavaScript / LLM / RAG.
  • Hands-on experience with AI Agents, Web Framework, or browser-based ML projects.
  • Strong curiosity about the intersection of AI and Web technologies.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
