Product Management Lead

**Position Description**

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Product Owner to join our international team. You will be part of the EDP Infrastructure Product Line team (one of 5 EDP Product Lines), consisting of Product Owner(s), Product Line Lead, Architects, Dev and QA engineers and Scrum Master. As Head of Product Owner for the Infrastructure Product Line, you will be responsible for: - Defining and evolving the capabilities and feature set of a private cloud infrastructure in alignment with customer needs and business objectives. Ensuring the timely delivery of product management deliverables, including roadmaps, customer use cases, and product backlogs to support the Infrastructure Product Line to deliver a highly reliable, scalable, and secure environment for EDP Platform services such as managed Kubernetes and managed data services. - Providing leadership and direction to Product Owners in the Infrastructure team across compute, storage, and networking domains to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure services, including but not limited to IaaS APIs, block/object storage, DNS, and certificate management. In this position, you will work very closely with:
EDP Platform Product Managers to ensure that the direction of your infrastructure products are in alignment with overall EDP Platform goals and direction. - Infrastructure Product Line architects and engineers to provide them with direction and guidance on “What” to build, in what priority. - Infrastructure Product Line Lead to achieve clear communication and alignment on Infrastructure Product Line goals, timelines, and deliverables. - Your peer Product Owners from other EDP Product Lines to identify and resolve dependencies between your products and products in other EDP Product Lines. The position requires: - Product mindset (customer obsession, customer value delivery, time-to-market etc.) - Collaborative, and at the same time, an assertive mindset to “get stuff done” - Ability to think “big picture” (product goals) and ability to execute (define and prioritize your product backlog for next 3 months) - You will report to the Infrastructure Product Line Lead and “dotted line” to Head of Platform Product Management Targets in that Position In this position, you will be responsible for: - Writing and reviewing Product Management “artifacts” for all products in the Infrastructure Product Line and keeping them up to date. Product Management artifacts include, but not limited to: - Product Roadmap - Product Specification (use cases and user journeys) - Prioritized Feature backlogs - Ensuring timely delivery of Product Management deliverables while adhering to the highest quality standards - Engaging with EDP Platform leadership team to communicate the overall Infrastructure products value proposition, roadmap, and progress status of your products. - Engaging with your peer EDP Product Owners to understand their needs and wants from Infrastructure products and reflect those in the Product Management documents stated above. - Identifying and documenting gaps in Infrastructure product offerings and be a “voice of the customer” to document and prioritize requirements to fill those gaps

**Profile Requirements**

We are looking for individuals with: - Product leadership experience in leading a team of Product Owners/Product Managers - Product Owner/Manager experience, specifically in delivering Product Management artifacts (Roadmap, Product Specifications, Feature Backlogs, Product Descriptions etc.) - Broad technical knowledge of compute, storage and networking including their corresponding virtualization technologies, infrastructure automation and observability/monitoring. - Collaborative and co-creation mindset with experience working closely with cross-functional teams. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts from a customer/user perspective. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable in taking decisions informed by the positions (often contrary to your own) of diverse set of stakeholders.

**Must-have competencies / Must-have skills**
- 5 years minimum experience in a leadership position managing a team of Product Owners/Product Managers - Demonstrable experience in creating Product Management artifacts (Roadmap, Product Specifications, Feature Backlogs, Product Descriptions etc.) in the voice of users/customers. - Broad familiarity with cloud-native technologies, specifically with Kubernetes - Good technical background and understanding of infrastructure technologies underpinning an on premise/private cloud (compute, storage and networking including their corresponding virtualization technologies, infrastructure automation and observability/monitoring)
