**Head of Customer Marketing / Operative Marketing Lead (M/F/d)**

**Responsibilities**
- As Head of operative Marketing you lead and coordinate the international Marketing Managers and Graphic Design teams worldwide in the US, India, UK, Poland and Germany.
- Based on sales data, market surveys/gap analysis, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and market and design trends you develop selling concepts and customer presentations with GALA’s candles, home fragrance and lifestyle home décor collections for leading retailers and brands.
- You screen and evaluate consumer trends, analyze buying interests and follow market insights to develop custom-fit storytelling, innovations and potential bestsellers that stand out from the competition and generate awareness among the respective target groups. You identify the specific needs of our customers in close cooperation with Sales.
- You support the Global Marketing Team and the regional sales directors in the introduction of the GALA Brand assortment (Candles, Liquids and Home Décor) to the European Market ensuring a successful market implementation with new and existing customers.
- You lead marketing efforts for products and offerings related to customer meetings and/or trade shows and play an important role in the GALA innovation process, following new product ideas through to marketing concept and launch papers with the regional teams to introduce them to the specific customers.
- As member of the multi-functional customer team you will work closely with the commercial team (Sales/Product Development) to ensure that new concepts meet cost and feasibility requirements.

**Key Competencies and Qualifications**
- High level of Marketing and design expertise and a good sense of consumer trends along with a business-oriented approach.
- Experience in trend-oriented development of tailormade products in collaboration with customers
- In-depth knowledge of the candle and home décor retail landscape. Work experience in a fragrance industry is a plus.
- Awareness of trend research and consumer analysis with a profound knowledge of home decor design and design processes
- Strong Marketing and creative skills and a passion for home fragrance and home decor products, consumer knowledge and trends.
- Quick learner - creative, proactive and with a hands-on attitude who enjoys working in a highly dynamic international environment with flat hierarchies.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in German and English.
- A Master’s degree in marketing and design is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and product design, including successful collaboration with retailers.
