Business Operations Associate

**About the opportunity**:
We are seeking a highly driven Business Operations Associate to join our team in Berlin. The Payments & Open Banking team is responsible for overseeing the N26 payment infrastructure, ensuring successful delivery of high impact payment initiatives and being the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Here you will have the unique opportunity to work on complex projects in a cross functional team environment alongside with leaders across Product, Operations, Growth and Finance, while driving business strategies and operational changes.

**In this role, you will**:

- Own relationships with N26's external partners within the segment and ensure optimal performance and successful collaboration with them
- Become the central point of contact and connection between internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate in a cross functional team environment on a daily basis and interact with internal stakeholders including Product/Tech, Legal/Compliance, Banking Operations, Treasury, Customer Service, Growth, Marketing etc.
- Support high-impact initiatives end-to-end from initial strategic design to delivery execution as well as ongoing improvement and management
- Constantly review data to gain a deeper understanding of the products/projects under your supervision, and ensure their performance is in line with SLA's.
- Fully leverage and further develop critical business skills including quantitative and qualitative analysis, project management, communications and stakeholder management in a high-functioning team environment

**What you need to be successful**:
Background:

- You have at least 4 years of work experience in banking, consulting, corporate strategy or startups, ideally with a focus on financial services/fintech
- You have at least an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics, Accounting or a related field (Masters or MBA is a plus)
- You have proven track record in project management, business analysis and experience to work simultaneously with different internal and external stakeholders

- Strong project management, preferably with experience in implementing large projects with senior stakeholders
- Passion for the payments industry and an interest in deepening your knowledge of the banking business.
