Business Operations Associate

**About the opportunity**:
We are seeking a highly driven Business Operations Associate to join our team in Berlin.

The team is currently responsible for facilitating the launch of a brand new deposits product to provide our customers with a best-in-class offering that's seamlessly integrated into their core banking experience. You will have the unique opportunity to work on complex projects in the lending and deposits space, launch new product features and enable N26 to plan and execute as effectively as possible to drive business strategy and operational change.

**In this role, you will**:

- Be responsible for the delivery of initiatives within the segment by closely collaborating with the Product & Tech organisation
- Own the relationship with N26's strategic product partners within the segment and ensure optimal performance and successful collaboration with them
- Become a central stakeholder for other departments at N26, including Product, Tech, Growth, Legal & Compliance, Accounting & Finance, Customer Operations, Banking Ops, Central Outsourcing Management and Marketing
- Support high-impact initiatives end-to-end from initial strategic design to delivery execution, to ongoing improvement and management
- Fully leverage and further develop critical business skills, including quantitative and qualitative analysis, vendor relationship management, stakeholder and project management and leadership in a high-functioning environment
- From your first day on, you will assume responsibility and take ownership of projects and external partner relationships

**What you need to be successful**:

- You have at least 2 years of work experience in banking (preferably retail lending), consulting, corporate strategy or startups, ideally with a focus on financial services/fintech dealing with internal or external partners

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills (English is the company language)
- Structured approach to breaking down complex problems and communicating them in a simple manner
- A passion for the Fintech industry and an understanding of how digital banks operate
- Outstanding analytical skills and intense attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently on projects impacting the highest level of the business
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities across departments to develop ideas, identify opportunities and resolve conflicts
- Strong project management, preferably with experience in implementing large projects with several stakeholders
- You are analytical, enjoy structuring abstract problems into actionable recommendations
- Interest in Bank Products is strongly encouraged
