**Your start in Data/AI Consulting in Life Science & Healthcare**

We are a small independent artificial intelligence consulting company for the life science and healthcare industry. We grow organically with our clients and colleagues, cultivating an open, friendly atmosphere and encouraging a colorful mix of personalities.

By joining our Student Trainee Programme, you will work on client projects from day one with the guidance of experienced colleagues. Our programme offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of AI, data, life science and healthcare.

**Your profile**
- Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Quantitative Molecular Biology, or Biology with significant exposure to computational/quantitative methods

In addition, you should meet the following requirements:

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program
- Some experience with relevant software tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL) gained in an academic or business environment
- Some experience with data analysis, statistics, or computational methods
- Work proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a plus but not required

**Your availability**
- You currently live in Berlin
- You are available for ~20 hours/week during the semester
- You have 12 or more months left until graduation

**Application process**

After a first screening, applicants are asked to complete three steps:
**1. Video interview** (30 mins)
We want to learn more about you and your motivation. You can learn more about idalab, the role and we will make sure to answer all your questions.

**2. AI/Life science consulting case study**
You can prove your conceptual, technical and methodological skills. No previous experience in solving consulting case studies is required.

**3. Onsite interviews and presentation**
You get to present your solution to the team. In personal interviews we have the opportunity to get to know each other
