**Your profile**
- Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Quantitative Molecular Biology, or Biology with exposure to software engineering and data processing
- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering with a focus on biological topics

In addition, you should meet the following requirements:

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program
- You have a passion for software engineering in combination with data processing
- You’re well versed in Python development
- You’re comfortable working in a Linux environment
- You want to learn more about cloud technologies such as the Google cloud platform
- Apart from tech, you also love communicating and breaking down complex technologies for non-technical people
- Work proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a plus but not required

**Your availability**
- You currently live in Berlin
- You are available for ~20 hours/week during the semester
- You have 12 or more months left until graduation

After a first screening, applicants are asked to complete four steps:

- 1. Online test, which assesses basic knowledge of python, SQL and software engineering
- 2. Video interview (30-45 mins), during which we want to learn more about your motivation
- 3. Data engineering case study, in which you can prove your conceptual and technical skills
- 4. Interview day, you get to present your solution to the team. You’ll also have the opportunity to get to know your future colleagues, in a total of three individual interviews
