We are looking for an Electronic Technician for our Microbial Solutions site in Kaarst.
This position will also have the following responsibilities:

- Perform testing, troubleshooting and repairs of electronics to component level.
- Mechanically assemble and disassemble new and existing equipment.
- Perform and operate test equipment and solder devices as necessary
- Create, develop and continuously improve SOP's related to the Instrument Service Depot and consult with QA when necessary.
- Be able to analyse situations and use own judgment when solving mechanical problems independently.
- Coordinates scheduling and assists department personnel in the absence of another Technician.
- Responsible for mastery of all SOPs in area of responsibility.
- Responsible for documentation in accordance with company policies, cGMP and FDA.
- Assist Technical Services by loading software, calibrating new equipment and ensuring new equipment is properly packaged.
- Perform and assess data entry into software program to track machine repairs.
- Interpret past repairs on PTS and MCS machines along with our Biotek, PRS3 and Celsis range of equipment and any new equipment that come on stream.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.

**Job Qualifications**
Minimum qualifications related to the Instrument Support Specialist role include:

- Degree or Diploma in an Engineering associated course or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in an electronics environment.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above
- Must be able to understand and read schematics.
- Experience with MS Office Suite. Experience in data entry preferred.
- Attention to detail in all aspects of the job is essential.
